We’re so excited to tell you that the
Latymer Restaurant here at Pennyill Park Hotel, has been awarded a
Michelin Star by the highly prestigious Michelin Restaurant Guide
2009!

Rosettes
Quick on the heels of the 'Best Restaurant Newcomer of the Year'
from the Good Food Guide 2009, The Latymer has also been
awarded 4 AA Rosettes under Chef Michael Wignall.
The Latymer is the only UK establishment to be promoted from 3
to 4 AA Rosettes in the 2010 AA Restaurant Guide to be
published in September 2009.
Head chef, Michael Wignall joined The Latymer in November 2007
from The Devonshire Arms Hotel in North Yorkshire where he held a
Michelin star and 4 AA rosettes. His natural flair in the kitchen,
expertise and passion for food has led to The Latymer fast becoming
one of the best restaurants in the Surrey area.

Dining
Describing his cooking as 'complex, carefully crafted and very
technical but not intimidating' his style has familiar classical
themes with all flavours staying true to themselves.
This is a premier food experience. You can expect to find
dishes such as pan fried John Dory fillets with braised shin of
veal and buttered gem lettuce and cannon of salt marsh lamb with
anchovy beignets, slow cooked pork belly, baby onions and tomato
vinaigrette.

Chic, Seductive Style
The Latymer is a 50 cover restaurant which includes a semi
private table for 5 people tucked away in a discreet alcove. To
complete the picture, Bruno Asselin (formerly Lucknam Park
and Pied à Terre) heads up the five-star team as
Restaurant Manager and Davide Vaccarini (previously at The Vineyard
and Gualtiero Marchesi) is our Head Sommelier.

In the heart of the main kitchen up to 8
people can enjoy a bespoke Tasting Menu by Chef Michael
Wignall whilst witnessing the theatre and skill to create it,
through interactive glass panels with detailed close-ups on a
large LCD screen.

entertaining clients or notable celebrations.
