What is this about?
Once our 'Exclusively Green' commitment got
underway, it was always our intention to continue researching areas
and procedures that would continually improve our cardon footprint
within the Exclusive Hotels Group.
Meetings and Conferences was a huge atrea
which we knew we could reduce our impact on the environment. It has
taken a lot of considered research, liaison and investigation to
produce something that would really make a difference and not just
pay lip service to a current 'hot topic'.
We passionately feel that we have made
truly unique inroads and are now extremely proud to launch
'Exclusively Green Conferencing'.
Why do
it?
After consulting many of our valuable existing conference
clients and bookers, we collated their wish list and requirements
at mini strategic forums. We were left in no doubt that
consideration for our environment was high on everyone's priority
list - even going as far as to say that is was now one of the top 3
major influencing factors when booking an event.
Obviously we can't ignore that kind of feedback but equally as a
company we feel very passionate about doing our bit - so we got on
a mission!
The results!
We faced a huge challenge to deliver an environmentally aware
programme for conferences and meetings that did not compromise our
five star service and product. However, we have now proudly
launched the start of 'Exclusively Green Conferencing'.
