Lightwater Country Park is an important fragment of the once
vast Bagshot Heath, stretching to Bracknell and Windsor. The
Country Park is made up of pre-dominantly heathland areas but with
many pockets of woodland, wild flower meadows, bogs and ponds and a
small community sports area. Come and walk our trails and paths or
visit the Heathland Visitor Centre with displays of natural
history, nature touch tables, quizes and regular arts and craft
activities.
