many of the Olympic events are being staged at historic landmarks
around the Capital – Hyde Park, Horse Guards Parade and The Mall to
name just a few. So make the most of sightseeing during your trip,
soak up the atmosphere and then, after a packed day out retreat
back to the tranquillity of Pennyhill Park to revive yourself.
If it’s the rowing or canoeing you have come
to see, Eton Dorney Lake is very easily accessible, again with
great tourist attractions right next door. Stay a couple of extra
days and take the opportunity to visit Windsor Castle and the
historic site at Runnymead.
Wimbledon is world-famous as a destination for
tennis and the obvious choice for the committee to choose to host
the Olympic matches - just 30 minutes by car from Pennyhill Park
there are few such luxury hotels quite so
close.
Car transfers and train timetables can be
arranged but if you prefer a more glamorous mode of transport our
helipad may be just the thing!
